Pidan goes to somewhere (3)

Some of you might remember that Pidan Rouge was clinging to human being's bag and about to go somewhere.

Pidan goes somewhere

It is not special at all, but just one of Pidan's ordinary travel diaries...

Pidan Rouge has come to Lake District!
It's my first time to visit here.
So, I would like to start with Pub Crawling.

I was caught in a rain, and I was a bit hungry.
So, I decided to have a supper at one of these Pubs, and it tuned out to be very nice!!!

Lucky me!!!

Pidan goes somewhere

I'm clinging to a bag held by a human being. Easy way to go out (I don't need to walk myself!)

Trip to Myanmar (1) Departure

In December 2014, I was at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4.

This was the biginning of my adventure in Myanmar.

Myanmar is a country which had been experiencing complex political situations but now the country is open and changing in an amasing speed.

Quite a few of my fellow travellers already visited Myanmar and they tell me stories of their amansing experiences in there.

I have been feeling  a little bit jealous.

But at last, I am travelling to Myanmar now.

I cannot be more excited!!!

Aquarium

I have got a tiny little aquarium.

Look inside, and you will see a fish is looking at you, too.

I can spend all day long just looking at this little guy.

Oh, but I am getting hungry.

I will have my lunch first, then resume looking.

A salad topped with Pidan

A lot of lettuce and tomatos delivered straight from a farm.

As a member of food, I cannot resist joining them.

Actually, it is a photo in a restaurant’s menu and I‘m just sitting on it.

But, I feel as if I was in the middle of a vegetable farm.

By the way, do you know what is me, Pidan?

Pidan is also known as Century egg, is a Chinese cuisine ingredient.

~~From Wikipedia~~

Century egg or pidan (Chinese: 皮蛋; pinyin: pídàn), also known as preserved egg, hundred-year egg, thousand-year egg, thousand-year-old egg, and millennium egg, is a Chinese cuisine ingredient made by preserving duck, chicken or quail eggs in a mixture of clay, ash, salt, quicklime, and rice hulls for several weeks to several months, depending on the method of processing.

Comfy Shelter

No sooner had I set off than I found a nice shelter.

I feel so safe here, I want to stay here forever,,,

No! I cannot afford to enjoy such a luxury!

Today, I must go shopping for Tofu.

Caught in a shower on the way, I managed to get two nice pieces of Tofu.

One “firm plain” and another “with Green Shiso flavour”

You can eat Tofu either hot or cold, and I prefer to have it cold at a humid night like this.

Green Shiso flavour one was a great success with such a rich Shiso flavour.

Very refreshing!!!

It makes ideal summer night’s refreshments

Setting off!

.
I am Pidan Original

I've just decided to set off on a small adventure, or, maybe I should say a series of small adventures.

The important thing is to take the first step.

FYI - It's not like I was a recluse. Don't misunderstand me.

I just want to take the first step...
